Dad's PET scan was approved!!!! Special thanks to Kip Hearron at the district for making this a possibility :) We are extremely excited - he's been denied so many times. We will finally get to find out just how well the chemo is working :)
He goes in tomorrow, and we'll get the results back in a few weeks. Yay!!!!

In February of 2009, Bill was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. He was a teacher, counselor and vice-principal for Bakersfield's Panama-Buena Vista Union School District for over 30 years, and ended his career as principal of Actis Jr. High School. He is currently enjoying his retirement and expending all his energy toward getting better!
